Lead Stress Analysis Engineer – Huntsville Design Center
Position:
Lead Stress Analysis Engineer located in Huntsville, Alabama. The role is 100% onsite at the Huntsville Design Center.
- Conduct stress analysis using manual calculations and finite element analysis.
- Perform analysis to meet program and customer requirements and industry standards.
- Lead analysis documentation and coordinate with other analysts and engineers to integrate results.
- Participate in new product development, testing, and certification activities.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
- Level 4:
Typically 9 or more years of related work experience. - Level 5:
Typically 14 or more years of related work experience. - 9+ years of experience performing stress analysis with manual calculations and finite element analysis.
- 9+ years of experience working with aerospace industry specifications and standards, part and/or process requirements.
- 3+ years of experience with metallic materials and metallic processes.
- 1+ year of experience with fatigue and fracture analysis and testing.
- Experience with testing, writing test plans, conducting tests, and writing test reports.
- 5+ years of experience performing stress analysis for government and industry customers.
- 5+ years of experience performing fracture or damage tolerance analysis.
- Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer degree.
Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with the U.S. Government requiring U.S. citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.

BenefitsPay ranges:
Lead Level 4: $126,650 - $171,350;
Lead Level 5: $154,700 - $209,300.
