OHM Advisors is seeking a Project Engineer to support and lead the delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects in our Huntsville office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support the continued growth and development of communities across Alabama and the Gulf Coast region.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and experienced civil engineering staff across OHM Advisors while playing a key role in project delivery, technical leadership, and mentorship of emerging engineers. This position offers strong opportunity for continued professional growth while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects across our Alabama markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway improvements.
- Serving as Engineer of Record and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, and permitting requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across OHM Advisors to support successful project delivery.
- Interacting with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Supporting project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
- Assisting with preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on technical excellence and continued growth.
