Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and three (3) years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; and conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture; or a Master's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and 1 year of applicable experience;
or a PhD in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university.

Required QualificationsU.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
DutiesResponsibilities will include collecting various evidence of material properties by performing various material characterization tasks including metallography evaluations to determine micro structure, verification and determination of alloy composition, and using various elemental analysis tools. The candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of tests using established methods and procedures.
