The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. As a Project Engineer and member of the NGI System Integration Test team, you will perform tasks related to the new integration the NGI All-Up-Round (AUR) into the GMD system.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate with the Control Account Manager and Planning to track weekly IMS burndown for the team

• Support the Control Account Manager by developing a weekly schedule status report in support the weekly schedule review board process

• Support the Control Account Manager by developing monthly earned value cost accounting reports and deliverables in support of the monthly program performance management battle rhythm

• Support Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and baseline change assessments (cost and schedule) as required by contractual directives and the engineering change request process

Desired skills:

• Proposal Experience

• Development of Key Performance Indicators, metric management, data dashboards using Tableau or similar

• Experience with working with an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and creating/executing IMS tasks.

• Familiarity with all phases of the development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs and supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft, or aircraft hardware

• Experience collaborating with internal and external customers and executive leadership

• Basic understanding of systems thinking techniques

• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to peers, leadership, and customers

• Active or Current Secret clearance
