We are pleased to announce the opening for a Principal Technology Protections Engineer, who will join our Cyber Mission Assurance Team in our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control market spaces. You will be part of a team known for cyber operational test and evaluation and systems security engineering.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the MDA Director for Technology Protection, performing analysis and supporting systems engineering efforts for the Missile Defense System at the system, element, and/or component level as well as advising MDA technology development programs to protect U.S. critical information and technology in weapons systems from exploitation and ensuring the effective complete life of our premier weapon systems.
Duties- Implement technology protection against advanced Zero-Day Cyber exploitation.
- Support technology protection assessments, evaluations, maturation, and development.
- Support attack/countermeasure modeling, development, and evaluation.
- Support vulnerability research and analysis.
- Support International Programs.
- Identify, design, implement, and manage complex weapon system projects and processes over their life cycles.
- Apply systematic approach to developing mathematical models, processes, techniques, and procedures for the creation of new or substantially improved methods or products.
- Work with senior level personnel to define, integrate and implement strategic direction for vital programs with long-term impact. Implement strategic plan within and across the organizational components.
- Support Special Joint Interagency Projects with critical National Defense implications.
- Ensure horizontal identification and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) across the Missile Defense System (MDS) and external DoD programs.
- Provide detailed and accurate technical reporting of analysis results in the form of PowerPoint presentations and/or Word documents, as well as oral briefings on complex technical subjects attuned to senior management, technical, or non-technical audiences.
- This position is open only to US Citizens.
- You must have 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project or industry equivalent.
- You must have a Bachelor's degree at minimum, in a scientific or technical field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Engineering discipline.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Must be capable of working independently and within teams to solve complex problems.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Master’s degree, in a scientific or technical field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of kernel level software, drivers, and firmware.
- Possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge of digital technologies.
- Expertise in one or more elements of the Missile Defense System.
