Raytheon Digital Hardware Electrical Engineer

What You Will Do

• Develop unit and module level requirements derived from system level requirements.
• Design circuit cards and hardware with processors, FPGAs, DDR memory and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Analyze and test FPGA, circuit card, module, or unit in laboratory settings.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout and technical drawing creation.
• Perform design work within schedule, sometimes defining schedule.
• Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and guide junior engineers.
• Design, review, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules or CCAs for missile applications.
• Generate PWB layout constraint guidelines, oversee layout and fabrication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable STEM field.
• Experience or coursework in circuit design, digital electronics, lab work, PCB design, and signal integrity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with Printed Wiring Boards (PWB).
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• ABET accreditation (preferred).
• 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.

• Competitive salary range: $57,200 – $108,800.

This position requires a Secret DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
