Job Summary
This position is contingent upon contract award to Lockheed Martin. Estimated award date is currently October 2026. Any job offers extended to chosen candidates will include a contingency clause stating that the offer is dependent on Lockheed Martin securing the contract.

This System Engineer will support a cross‑functional, multi‑site team in the Targets and Countermeasures Production Program. The engineer will independently work in a highly dynamic customer environment and support overall objectives of the program. Responsibilities include executing requirements development and decomposition, integration and testing, preparing data and materials for executive‑level leadership and customer briefings, and participating in major program reviews and supporting program execution across a diverse team.
BasicQualifications
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and experience with one or more of the following: a) System trade studies and/or System modeling, b) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development, c) System Integration, Test and/or Verification, d) Test planning and execution with an understanding of interdependencies, e) Design reviews.
- Experience using one or more of the following Systems Engineering related software/tools: a) IBM DOORS or other requirements management software, b) CAMEO Systems Modeler or other MBSE platform, c) MATLAB, d) Windchill, e) Creo Parametric or other CAD software.
- System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an ABET‑accredited program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to obtain a Final Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data.
- Ability to interact with hardware Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of daily program operations.
Clearance Level: Secret. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
