Test Engineer - Junior

Opportunity

Join our Test and Training Team supporting the Integrated Base Defense - Sustainment Support (IBD-SS) contract. Operations are located at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

• Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products or components.
• Devise and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors.
• Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with engineering and technical personnel.
• Provide technical support, testing, and advice to other engineering groups.
• Assist in answering questions from customers and FSRs, logging calls and solutions in COLTS.
• Review and update curriculum to support the force protection system training program.
• Occasionally travel to other CONUS or OCONUS locations to assist in unit training and site survey development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  AA/AS + 3–5 years of experience (or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Security Clearance: US Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high-quality environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service.
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively with attention to detail.
• Expertise using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) and familiarity with Jira.

Pay Range: $73,450.00 – $.
