SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company is looking for a Test Engineer
.
The position is located in Huntsville, AL, and requires U.S. citizenship due to DoD contract requirements. This is an ITAR facility.
Primary Responsibilities- Training technicians in debugging functional test failures and use of diagnostic equipment.
- Developing fault‑tree diagrams and other supporting tools to facilitate troubleshooting and identifying component‑level failures.
- Setting task priorities and driving them to completion with minimal oversight.
- Writing technical reports for a multidisciplinary team related to design, test and electrical failures, and manufacture of electronic products.
- Effectively and clearly communicating project status to management.
- Working in a team environment to ensure that all technical requirements are successfully met.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of test engineering / product troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, schematics and test procedures.
- Experience writing Excel VBA code and using Excel formulas is a plus.
