Seniority:
Entry Level – 3 years of experience and a B.S. in STEM
U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance starting on day 1.
Responsibilities- Design, analyze (including thermal), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry using standard non‑isolated topologies (buck, boost, buck‑boost).
- Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and create technical drawings.
- Perform design work within schedule constraints and present technical data reviews to program leadership.
- Apply technical standards, principles, and techniques to moderate‑scope problems.
- Contribute to subsystem integration, testing, and root‑cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience with low‑level electronics components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, etc.) and ability to design with them.
- Hands‑on experience with buck, boost, or buck‑boost converter topologies.
- Knowledge of analog circuit design and analysis (FET, BJT, Op‑amp).
- Ability to perform design, analysis, and test of power electronics with simulation tools.
- Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls electronics.
- Experience with PCB layout tools and circuit simulators (e.g., SIMPLIS, Saber, Mathcad).
- Understanding of power converter and motor drive control schemes.
Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD (dependent on experience, location, and role).
