Senior Electrical Engineer

Location:

Huntsville, Alabama (Onsite)

U.S. citizenship is required. Active, transferable DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start date.

What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate.
  • Develop both engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design, and analysis.
  • Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
  • Act independently or as part of a team to identify and resolve issues related to development and implementation of test products.
  • Support lab engineering and factory production test systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Electrical, Computer, or related field) or an advanced degree with at least 5 years (or 3 years with an advanced degree) of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
  • Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
  • Technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analog, digital, and/or RF design experience.
  • Design, test, and integration of digital, mixed-signal, and electrical system interconnects.
  • Use of integrated development environments, debugging tools, and software troubleshooting.
  • Project management, bid-proposal, and computer-architecture experience.
  • Programming language development and implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems.
