Structural Drafter / Designer - Huntsville, AL (On-Site Full‑Time; $25–33/hr depending on experience)
Responsibility- Read architectural and engineering plans and assist engineers in project development.
- Set up sheet sets, layout building plans or elevations, and prepare section cuts to facilitate engineering design.
- Collaborate with the drafting manager and senior engineer to ensure projects meet client timelines.
- Draft structural elements to provide accurate and complete drawings that support structural integrity.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Minimum three years’ drafting experience with an emphasis on structural work in vertical construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans and sections, producing precise structural drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering staff.
