Mid-Level Aerospace Engineer

The selected candidate will work with real‑time hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and all‑digital representations of complex Air & Missile defense radars. Common tasks include scenario design and development, analysis tool development, and application of new or existing tools to perform complex analysis on radar system performance. The candidate will enhance understanding of critical radar functions such as acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, advanced functions, and system‑level interactions, and may support projects including performance analysis, post‑flight reconstructions, simulation integration, execution and analysis, and risk reduction efforts.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related aerospace engineering experience.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in modeling and data analysis using Matlab, Python, and/or similar tools.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Candidate must currently possess a SECRET clearance.

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or other STEM fields.
• Experience with Patriot, LTAMDS, Sentinel, or other Army radar systems and/or associated digital representations.
• Experience with radar analysis, radar systems engineering, and/or radar operations.
• Experience with radar signal/detection injection HWIL systems or electronic attack/electronic protection systems.
• Experience leading the development of complex analysis tools using Matlab.
• Experience with Air & Missile Defense aspects such as threat/targets, IBCS, missile system uplink/downlinks, radar system test data and analysis, and simulation frameworks.
