Effector Guidance Electronics (EGE) – Electronics Design Engineer

The EGE department develops electronics for weapon system products, handling architecture, design, and documentation of deliverable FPGA embedded processing. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
What You Will Do- Responsible for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing
- Create PCB, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and schematic drawings for suppliers
- Capture schematics, perform component placement, trace routing, and create Gerber/ODB++ files
- Use Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and Blue Print-PCB for layout
- Design rigid, flex, and rigid‑flex assemblies
- Develop full designs, re‑spins, drawing updates, change notices, copper changes, and process improvement projects
- Interface daily with Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering to capture design requirements while considering cost, cycle time, and producibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with the electrical design process
- Working knowledge of analog and digital design layout
- Experience with board layout design tools
- Familiarity with Valor NPI, Design for Manufacturing rule sets, and Design Rule Checking software
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings related to PCBs and CCAs
- Salary range: USD 57,200 – 108,800
