Chenega Technical Innovations (CTI) seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support our Federal Government Client in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will provide technical engineering support for a highly complex federal network infrastructure that spans multiple enclaves and classification levels.

• Provide design and engineering activities for new network solutions in a multi‑enclave enterprise environment across various technologies.
• Offer network support to resolve issues not solved by front‑line tiers.
• Gather user network requirements and produce necessary technical documentation, system requirements, security documents, and system test plans.
• Install, maintain, and evaluate network and communications systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving protocols, topologies, hardware, and more.
• Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost assessments.
• Leverage deep knowledge of internetworking, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to improve current designs and collaborate on new solutions.
• Apply technical and business experience to improve deployment and maintenance processes.
• Work independently and collaboratively to enhance network solutions and service quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with LAN and WAN solutions, including cost‑effective, high‑performance IP networks.
• Experience with Cisco routing platforms such as ASR routers.
• Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolution.
• Experience in network design and traffic engineering.
• Experience providing senior‑level engineering support.
• Experience with TACLANE systems.
• Active Top‑Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI (including a CI polygraph test administered onsite).

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
• Experience with SD‑WAN implementation and operations.
• Experience in network engineering within the federal intelligence community.
• Strong, disciplined troubleshooting methodology and task completion focus.
• Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and directed.

• In‑depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, and GRE.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, and VLANs.
• Disciplined troubleshooting methodology with thorough documentation.
• High motivation and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organization to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Support for collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Meet minimum clearance requirements.
• Capable of working nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Travel up to 10%.
