Job Purpose:

The Engineer will be responsible for independently applying engineering theories and principles, managing moderately complex or contributing to complex projects in the design of process and support of products in a systems and solutions manufacturing environment. The person in this role will be responsible for the following duties.

• Repair and service process design execution and reporting.
• Monitor process performance and enhance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understanding the latest repair techniques and implementing continuous improvement programs while striving for excellence using Lean/Sigma Methodologies.
• Define requirements, plan, schedule, monitor milestones and costs, and remove barriers to project success.
• Troubleshoot complex repair process performance problems and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
• Conduct independent research into complex engineering problems to develop new operating policies, capabilities, and processes.
• Takes ownership for engineering and quality processes under his/her control for specific programs and products.
• Create process assembly documentation and deliver up-to-date, accurate work instructions.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and conduct Engineering Change Order activity.
• Perform qualification on new processes being introduced.
• Lead quality circles and drive continuous quality product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering design teams to improve NPI and time‑to‑market initiatives.
• Participate and drive the DFx (design feedback) process.

• Background in the execution of best‑practice process control is required.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Process or Product Engineer, preferably in a Systems/Solution Integration environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience with Server/Storage/Network products.
• Experience with data collection and reporting tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong program management skills.
• Understanding of operating methodologies in a Systems/Solution Integration environment.
• Demonstrated work history in management of electronics manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
• Training or certification with ISO 9000, ISO 13485 (listed once), ISO 14001, AS‑9100, IPC 610, ANSI J STD 001, ANSI ESD 20/20.
• High competency in computer skills with advanced training or work experience with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR and Department of Defense contract requirements.
