* Parsons is looking for an amazingly skilled and motivated  
** Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager
** to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) within the Office of the Chief Engineer. In this role you will focus on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle management-including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.

** What You'll Be Doing:*
* + Ensure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).

+ Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) Decisions

+ Provide expert review of evidence related to technical, and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews.

+ Provide support to elements for risk development.

+ Support Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.

** What Required Skills You'll Bring:*
* + Bachelor's Degree in STEM

+ 7+ years of experience

+ Active Secret clearance

+  Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams

** What Desired Skills You'll Bring:*
* + Graduate of a military spectrum management school

+ 4+ years of experience within federal/DoW spectrum management

+ Ability to obtain / Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance

+

Experience with Spectrum XXI (SXXI)

+ Knowledge of the NTIA Manual (Redbook)

+

Experience with the GEMSIS suite (Stepstone, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online [HNSWD-O], Joint Spectrum Data Repository [JSDR], Integrated Spectrum Desktop)

+ Knowledge of electromagnetic propagation modeling, wave behavior, and signal attenuation

+

Experience with Mat-lab or other programming languages

+ Knowledge of the Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIR-O) portal

+

Experience with NTIA EL-CID

+ Knowledge of standard engineering practices

+

Experience with automation tools or programming/scripting languages to aid in data analysis

** Security Clearance Requirement:*
* An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​
