Electrical Engineer
Leidos' Ground Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the team responsible for the radar system and infrastructure that ingests, computes, manages, and distributes radar data. This role will guide the development and integration of the computing, networking, timing, operator interface, and command-center capabilities required to support reliable and synchronized radar operations.
This role requires a seasoned technical contributor proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in electrical engineering and analysis. You will be responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult or unclear while collaborating with other members of the design teams.
You will primarily accomplish work through leading your team of design engineers. You will be responsible for meeting product technical requirements within schedule and budget. The Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering assigned work scope while leading a cross-functional team to achieve program cost, schedule, and technical objectives. This position serves as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), responsible for developing and maintaining the Control Account Plan (CAP), forecasting Estimate at Completion (EAC), managing earned value performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring execution within the approved budget and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
This is not your average engineering position. You will work on a team of the most talented engineers in the region who push you to be better every day. This is a fast-paced program with unique technical challenges that will be a rewarding milestone in any engineering career. If you are up for the challenge of joining this team, then apply today to be considered.
