RF Design Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SATCOM, tactical communications, or radar systems.

-Familiarity with adaptive tuning, optimization, and error correction techniques.

-Experience supporting system integration and field testing.

-Exposure to defense or government programs.

Required Qualifications:

-Must have an active DoD Security Clearance

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

-8+ years of experience in RF systems, communications engineering, or related fields.

-Experience in the design, implementation, and analysis of communication systems.

-Proficiency with SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio, REDHAWK, or similar.

- Experience with C/C++ for embedded or systems-level applications.

- Experience with modeling, simulation, and system validation techniques.

-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

-Contribute to the design and development of RF communication systems for defense and secure applications.

-Develop, analyze, and validate models for communications and RF-based systems.

-Design and implement signal processing algorithms.

-Support software-defined radio (SDR) development using frameworks such as GNU Radio, REDHAWK, or similar.

-Participate in system integration, testing, and validation activities, including hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, hardware, and cybersecurity engineers.

-Document technical work and present findings to internal stakeholders and program teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
