The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

As a Project Engineer and member of the NGI Weapon System Integration team, you will perform tasks related to the new integration the NGI All-Up-Round (AUR) into GMD.

In this role, you will:

• Interface with the customer, define and execute the process for inputting, tracking, and closure of external action items / customer requests
• Track the team’s weekly priorities and make sure the team is progressing to burn them down
• Support Integration Lead and the team to work on stretch assignments as necessary
• Coordinate with Cost Account Manager and Planning to track weekly IMS burndown for the team, to ensure the team is working to the baseline
• Define, coordinate, and execute the process for ensuring all information received and provided to/from the government is readily available for program use
• Support proposal efforts for the Element Level Engineering through Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and cost assessments

• Proposal Experience
• Development of Key Performance Indicators, metric management, data dashboards using Tableau or similar
• Experience with working with an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and creating/executing IMS tasks.
• Familiarity with all phases of the development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs and supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft, or aircraft hardware
• Experience collaborating with internal and external customers and executive leadership
• Basic understanding of systems thinking techniques
• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, leadership, and customers
• Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM)
• Active or Current Secret clearance
