Responsibilities- Develop and refine system simulations, which include physics-based models
- Perform simulation-based performance analysis to support software updates and system improvements
- Analyze flight test data to verify and improve simulation accuracy
- Support studies to assess operational effectiveness of weapon systems
- Work with missile software and platform integration teams to ensure simulations reflect missile system of systems realities
- Generate briefings and technical reports to communicate system effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent from an accredited institution required
- 5-12 years of related technical experience
- Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S)
- Ability to program in structured software languages
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance
- Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), Radar Sensors, or weapon performance modeling preferred
- Experience with MATLAB, C++, and Python preferred
- Strong foundation in modeling & simulation, physics, aerospace engineering, or related discipline
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate technical findings clearly
- Familiarity with test processes and VV&A standards is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance and ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required
Employees in this position will work in a general office/cubicle environment and laboratory/testing setting, using standard office and electronic testing equipment. Tasks include meetings, report generation, and occasional telework. May work varying shifts and hours and travel occasionally for assigned work.
