CAD Engineer

Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer

In this role as a Missile Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and/or modifying 3D missile models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing multiple design software packages concurrently.

• Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives
• Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function and manufacturability
• Apply industry best practices along with applicable standards
• Maintain Technical Data Package, e.g. drawings, revision history, source references, etc.
• Collaborate with Customers, Managers and other team members during model development
• Coordinate with other modeling team disciplines to achieve design goals
• Must be able to work independently

• Proficient using Siemens' NX 2022 design software
• Proficient using PTC's Creo 7.0 design software
• Proficient using Dassault's Solid Works 2022 software
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of missile system design

Minimum requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 4+ years DoD related work experience in missile modeling.

Required to be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

• Salary Range
  : $80,000 to $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience and education)
