Description: Join Our Team as an Avionics Electrical Systems Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment.
This position does not support teleworking. The selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Huntsville, AL;
Sunnyvale, CA;
Littleton, CO.
Work a flexible 9×80 schedule in the office full‑time.
Key Activities- Lead an interdisciplinary technical team in the development and production of electronics circuit card assemblies, units, and related test equipment.
- Review engineering designs, test plans, and associated manufacturing and test procedures.
- Work on a cross‑functional team in the development and integration of world‑class avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review, and presentation of Product Certification, and support system level testing.
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
- Missile design experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in this role.
- Current DoD Interim Secret clearance or higher; US Citizenship required.
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience with design of digital or analog circuits.
- Experience with product qualification, requirements verification, and certification.
- Current DoD interim Secret clearance or higher; US Citizenship required.
- Experience overseeing the production and test of electronics assemblies.
- Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions.
- Experience in product team leadership.
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self‑initiative in solving complex problems.
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Existing DoD Secret clearance.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret.
