  • Lead operational technical working groups and facilitate coordination among Technical Authorities, Discipline Leads, Subject Matter Experts, commercial providers, and NASA organizations.
  • Develop technical briefings, operational status reports, readiness assessments, and management presentations supporting program leadership.
  • Support mission operations integration activities across all phases of the Human Landing System lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties as required in support of Human Landing System mission operations and integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of 20 years of direct engineering experience or MS degree with 18 years' experience, preferably supporting aerospace systems development, systems engineering, requirements management, or verification activities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting human spaceflight mission operations, systems engineering, mission integration, or flight operations.
  • Experience developing operational documentation including Operations Plans, Concepts of Operations (Con Ops), console procedures, or equivalent mission operations products.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in dynamic operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating activities across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and real-time problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development and presentation of technical information to management and mission leadership.

Preferences:

  • Experience supporting NASA Human Landing System, Artemis, Orion, Space Launch System, Exploration Ground Systems, International Space Station, Commercial Crew, or other human spaceflight programs.
  • Experience supporting mission control operations, flight control teams, or real-time mission execution.
  • Experience developing operational readiness, training, simulation, and certification programs.
  • Experience supporting technical working groups, readiness reviews, Flight Readiness Reviews, Mission Management Team activities, or mission simulations.
  • Experience coordinating technical issue resolution, anomaly response, and mission replanning activities.
  • Experience working with commercial spaceflight providers and multi-center NASA organizations.
