4M Research is seeking a Payload Operations Integrations (POI) Specialist for our opportunity at Marshall Space Flight Center.
The successful candidate will be assigned as the subject matter expert to multiple unique payloads and coordinates all efforts of pre-increment International Space Station payload readiness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Assesses a payload and works closely with the Payload Developer (PD) to become knowledgeable on their science objective/requirements and to guide the PD teams through the Payload Operation Integration Function (POIF) milestones.
- Reviews Payload Integration Agreements and other integration related documents, writes payload crew procedures, defines, coordinates and performs crew payload training, participates in usability tests and develops cadre training.
- Supports development of real-time flight products as well as Flight Rules and Payload Regulations work in a control room environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 0-2 years' experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
- US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance
- Previous ISS Experience
- Knowledge of ISS Operations
- Experience that demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure
- An interest in NASA and the space program
