Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000/ year (In compliance with State laws surrounding Pay Equality and Transparency, Lindahl Reed is required to post a salary range. Actual pay will depend on several factors including location and level of experience.)

Description/Job Summary
Lindahl Reed is seeking energy professionals to provide Energy Analyst services to the Army Materiel Command Headquarters, Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), and Organic Industrial Base (OIB) facilities. The candidate will work with AMC to achieve robust energy management programs, initiatives, and projects to meet energy laws, regulations, policies, directives, and goals. Energy support services include assistance with Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects, Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) projects, Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) projects, Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) projects, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) projects, Renewable Energy projects and other energy projects.
The candidate will support demand reduction for energy and water through education, conservation, and efficiency initiatives and projects that optimize the use of utility resources, including natural gas, electricity, solar, geothermal, water, wastewater, wind, and other energy/utilities. The candidate will also assist with energy and water planning, including development of Installation Energy and Water Plans (IEWPs). In support of these requirements, the candidate will provide project management, engineering, technical knowledge, and analysis of energy management applications, databases, and systems, as well as high-level functional support for evaluation and implementation advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy resilience projects.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on energy and water efficiency, renewable energy, energy security, energy resiliency and utilities/infrastructure projects.
- Review project packages for accuracy and completeness including life cycle cost analysis.
- Review and analyze energy, water, and other utility data.
- Support energy reporting requirements
- Coordinate and review report findings/results/status as required.
- Develop decarbonization and electrification solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emission associated with power generation and transportation
- Support energy project implementation through ESPC, UESC, and ERCIP projects, and other funded energy projects
- Candidates must possess one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management.
- An Environmental Science, business or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management.
- A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management.
- No degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
- Background in energy management and experience with onsite renewable energy generation, energy storage, and microgrid projects as well as alternative financing contract vehicles.
- Experience supporting the development and implementation of energy projects.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense energy management and reporting requirements.
