Senior Systems Engineer – MIM-104 Patriot PAC-3 MissilesKey Responsibilities
- Lead and support IV&V efforts for PAC-3 missile software and system components across multiple Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs).
- Analyze missile system performance and verify requirements through test execution and data‑driven assessment.
- Participate in and support Format Qualification Tests (FQTs), validating requirement success criteria using Python and MATLAB‑based analysis.
- Conduct detailed flight test analysis, including data reconstruction and support to Joint Analysis Team (JAT) quick‑look reporting.
- Evaluate and adjudicate software and system‑level findings, including assessing operational and schedule impacts.
- Review and approve engineering changes (e.g., PCRs, RCRs) as part of engineering review boards.
- Provide technical leadership in design reviews, test readiness reviews, and integrated product team (IPT) activities.
- Interface with government stakeholders and program leadership to communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations.
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or related field).
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience within DoD or aerospace programs.
- Direct experience supporting PAC-3 missile systems (IV&V, software validation, test, or system engineering).
- Strong background in system verification, validation, and test execution.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python and MATLAB.
- Experience working with system requirements, engineering documentation, and change control processes.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- Must have an active current security clearance.
- Experience in PAC-3 IV&V leadership roles or missile analysis teams.
- Background supporting flight test events and post‑flight data analysis.
- Familiarity with Software Review Boards (SRBs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), or similar governance structures.
- Prior experience briefing senior government or program leadership.
