Model-Based Systems Engineer
General Overview: MTSI is looking for a skilled and motivated Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with MBSE tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
- Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
- Coordinate with internal, and external teams to collaborate on models.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in STEM field
- 12+ years of experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Strong Model-based engineering experience
- Ability to excel in a team setting
- Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, Math Works Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, Model Center, etc.)
- MDA Experience
- Expertise in C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability
