Electrical Assistant Project Manager – Commissioning

• Provide general management for electrical and/or specialty systems QAQC and commissioning scopes of work under the guidance of the Project or Program Manager
• Assist with commissioning and startup schedules
• Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects
• Participate in bi-annual performance evaluation processes and conduct employee performance reviews
• Consult with Group or Project Managers to establish field merit wage increases
• Maintain employee relations
• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects
• Ensure projects are completed profitably, on time, and according to customer expectations
• Attend weekly and monthly staffing, project management, and sales meetings
• Process miscellaneous paperwork
• Review outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department
• Visit various job sites and interact with crews, customers, foremen, and general contractors to ensure job progress and support safe behavior
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Project Management, Construction Management, Project Engineering, or Commissioning Management experience
• Commissioning/start-up experience for electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Relevant industry experience may include Mission Critical, Industrial, and Commercial
• Proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of the electrical construction trade preferred
• Willingness/ability to travel 75–100%
• Availability for typical work hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with work potentially required at any time to meet business needs
• Successful completion of a background check and drug test
• Ability to perform the position’s assigned functions and requirements

Demonstrates expertise in Project Management and Commissioning for Electrical and Specialty Systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining strong employee relations and effective communication with stakeholders.
