Blue Origin Engines in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced thermo‑mechanical engineer to develop and own 2D axisymmetric whole‑engine models of rotating equipment, predicting temperatures, deflections and clearances across the full operating envelope.
You will translate 3D geometry into efficient 2D representations, implement transient profiles, calibrate against rig/test data, and collaborate with design, aero/CFD, rotor dynamics, materials, and test teams to deliver actionable life‑assessment
