** is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join our team in Huntsville Alabama designing the next generation of radars to protect America and its allies. You will lead an Integrate Product Team (IPT) as they develop the Low Band Surveillance (LBS) product.

You will direct the technical work of a team of engineers, ensuring their work meets program requirements, schedule milestones, and budget constraints. Technical depth and understanding of execution are essential to coordinate between subsystem leads and ensure alignment across the team.

* ** Primary Responsibilities*
* ** _Integrated Product Team Leadership:_*
* +  _Own overall execution performance for the IPT scope._

+  _Lead cost, schedule, and technical performance alignment for the hardware team._

+  _Ensure program commitments are executable and aligned to baselineobjectives._

** _Technical Oversight:_*
* +  _Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on program objectives._

+  _Partner with subsystem leads and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment supports program goals._

+  _Drive disciplined execution and proactive risk management across the IPT._

** _Risk and Opportunity Management:_*
* +  _Identify, assess, and manage IPT risks and opportunities._

+  _Develop and implement mitigation plans to address risks and capitalize on opportunities._

** _Stakeholder Engagement:_*
* +  _Provide clear and concise status communication to leadership and stakeholders._

+  _Represent the IPT in governance forums and lead design reviews._

+  _Maintain compliance with contractual requirements and internal governance standards._

** _Execution Excellence:_*
* +  _Drive issue resolution across functional boundaries to ensure program success._

+  _Promote a culture focused on outcomes, execution discipline, and continuous improvement._

** Basic Qualifications*
* + Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

+ 12+ years of applicable experience or 10+ years with MS degree.

+ Experience leading a team of engineers to develop solutions that meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements

+ Strong Solid Works user

+ Strong desire to lead, guide, and mentor

+ Active secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Windchill PLM experience

+ Design and/or Integration experience in the following areas:

- Mobile equipment

-Tactical trailers

-Radar Systems

-Mechanism Design

-Design for Manufacturability
