Systems Engineer HLS Operation Integrator

Aerodyne Industries seeks a Systems Engineer HLS Operation Integrator to support NASA human spaceflight missions from Merritt Island, FL. In this role, you will perform systems engineering for the Human Landing System, integrating operations across mission planning, test, and execution. Responsibilities include developing concepts of operations, procedures, and interface documentation; supporting simulations, rehearsals, and flight readiness; and analyzing performance, risks, and anomalies.

You will collaborate closely with NASA and contractor teams in a mission-driven, safety-focused environment where your work directly impacts human space exploration.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of Human Landing System (HLS) operations for NASA missions
• Perform systems engineering for mission planning, test, verification, and validation
• Develop and maintain operational concepts, procedures, and interface control documents
• Coordinate with NASA, contractors, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Analyze system performance, risks, and anomalies; recommend mitigations
• Support simulations, rehearsals, and flight readiness activities
• Generate technical reports, briefings, and configuration-controlled documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety, mission assurance, and NASA standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and mission operations
