Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, vendor and customer representatives during definition, assembly, testing, and acceptance operations, ensuring all test requirements and criteria are met.
  • Execute detailed test procedures following work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
  • Perform functional check out and operational/component testing of electrical/electronic, electro-mechanical, electro-optical, mechanical systems, electronic, radio frequency (RF), and ground support equipment installations including the operation and maintenance of associated support equipment.
  • Operate non-automated, stand-alone test equipment, including bench test equipment and other diagnostic or calibration tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and specialized diagnostic tools.
  • Perform fault isolation of complex electrical circuitry using troubleshooting techniques.
  • Analyze test and rejection history to identify problems and develop corrective action.
  • Follow all safety protocols while working in and around ordnance, hazardous materials, and high-voltage equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency to work independently with minimal supervision while actively supporting teamwork and positive communication within cross-functional teams.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim pre-start and final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years' experience operating non-automated Stand-alone test equipment
  • 1+ years' experience using electrical or electronic precision measuring tools and equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, voltage testers, oscilloscopes
  • Experience with RF test instruments such as spectrum analyzers, power meters and etc
  • 1+ years' experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronic systems
  • 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prior experience with testing and troubleshooting advanced electronic systems such as Electro-Optical Guidance Systems, Radar Tests and/or RF Seeker
  • Active US Secret security clearance

Additional Information:

  • This is an hourly position governed by the IAMAW 2766 Collective Bargaining agreement
  • The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned. This site runs 3 shifts:
    • A shift:
      Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
    • B shift:
      Monday-Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am
    • C shift:
      Friday-Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm
Training for this position will occur on first or second shift Monday-Friday. The above shifts will be assigned after training is completed
