Position: Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

NOTE:

This is not a remote/telework job. This job requires the selected applicant to have or the ability to obtain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance and, therefore, requires U.S. citizenship. Kegman has an immediate opening for a Radar System Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support system engineering efforts on various programs for the Department of Defense (DoD). Responsibilities:
System trade studies and associated analyses
Analyses of alternatives
System performance modeling and analyses
System Interface Design and associated Functional Modeling and Decomposition
Requirements Verification Test
Participate in engineering technical reviews
Document work artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in system engineering on DoD programs
Radar signal processing, algorithm development, and AESA hardware/beam forming expertise; extensive MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis
Requirements definition, verification, and system architecture using DOORS/MBSE, SysML, and trade study techniques
End to end subsystem integration and test plan creation for radar system verification

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline Desired

Skills:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline

Experience with Python
Experience working on a geographically distributed team
Experience in technical leadership and/or mentoring of junior engineers Other:
Must pass a drug test.
U.S. citizenship required.
Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire.
