* Support the development and implementation of DFM/DFA practices and improved manufacturing processes, work methods, tooling, and process controls.
* Investigate production and manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions and process improvements.
* Provide technical support to Production and Manufacturing for process-related issues and assist with identifying solutions that minimize production disruptions.
* Participate in MRB activities by investigating nonconformances, evaluating potential dispositions, and coordinating resolutions with Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other applicable organizations. Support corrective and preventive actions resulting from MRB trends, recurring nonconformances, and other manufacturing issues. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The Operations Engineer is responsible for completing assigned tasks and coordinating engineering and manufacturing activities necessary to support organizational objectives.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, TDPs, BOMs, work instructions, and related manufacturing documentation.
* Working knowledge of DFM, DFA, manufacturing processes, and process improvement principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
* Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Working knowledge of manufacturing quality principles and nonconformance/MRB processes.
* Ability to evaluate technical issues and develop recommendations based on engineering, manufacturing, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Production Control, Supply Chain, and Management.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn applicable engineering, ERP, MES, and manufacturing software.
