We are seeking a professional Senior Power Engineer to assume a key role within the System Power, Analog and Controls Department. Do you enjoy power converter design? What You Will Do

  • Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry potentially utilizing any standard non-isolated power conversion topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost) including modules and discrete designs.
  • Guide Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.
  • Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.
  • Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear converters.
  • Experience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
  • Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits.
