The Tactical, Communications, and Maintenance Applications (TCMA) team based in Huntsville, Alabama has new opportunities for individuals who want to grow their technical expertise on complex programs and be a part of an innovative and fast-paced avionics business area.

Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Our team focuses on creating avionics solutions for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including the integration of various radios and surveillance equipment for domestic and international military customers.

We are looking for an entry level Engineer, disciplined in Systems Engineering to join our TCMA team in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Agile avionics communication systems engineering processes and tasks.

• Design, implement, and evaluate communications systems task utilizing engineering development tools within the Agile framework
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, development of military technology
• Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early requirements to be used to develop software prototypes
• Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
• Implement requirements, detailed design, implementing testing scripts for software, integration, and verification in accordance with software development processes.
• Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
• Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.

You Must Have: Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

We Prefer: Familiarity with Agile software development cycle.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
