RF Communications Engineer

Leidos seeks an RF Communications Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize RF systems that support mission-critical government and commercial programs. In this role, you will develop and model RF links, specify antennas and waveforms, perform interference and spectrum analysis, and support integration and testing of complex communications solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to solve challenging problems in national security, health, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze RF communication systems and links
• Develop RF propagation, link budget, and interference models
• Select and specify antennas, waveforms, and modulation schemes
• Perform spectrum, interference, and EMC/EMI analysis
• Support integration, test, and troubleshooting of RF systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mission-critical projects
• Document designs, test results, and technical findings
• Support customer reviews and technical presentations
