Radar Engineer

Leidos seeks Radar Engineers to design, integrate, and optimize advanced radar systems for national security and critical infrastructure missions. In this role, you will develop signal processing algorithms, perform RF system design, conduct modeling and simulation, and support lab and field testing. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze radar performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and transform mission needs into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced radar and RF systems for mission-critical applications
• Implement and optimize radar signal processing and tracking algorithms
• Perform modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of radar systems
• Support integration, lab evaluation, and field testing of radar hardware and software
• Troubleshoot system issues and develop corrective actions and design improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and program teams to meet customer requirements
• Document designs, test plans, analysis reports, and technical findings
• Ensure radar solutions meet security, safety, and regulatory standards
