Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing
Test Engineer to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Test Development:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing engineers) to define requirements and develop test hardware/software.
• Production Support:
  Prepare and deploy test hardware for production testing; coordinate with suppliers for hardware manufacturing.
• Test Implementation:
  Develop and implement test software (using NI LabVIEW, Test Stand, or Python) for production assemblies.
• Test Execution:
  Set up and operate manual/automated test equipment for functional, environmental, and life tests.
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify and mitigate test readiness issues; troubleshoot assemblies to the component level using standard test equipment.
• Analysis & Improvement:
  Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and suggest improvements to test procedures and assembly processes.
• Documentation:
  Use schematic capture tools for hardware design; create and maintain manufacturing documents, work instructions, and inventory reports.
• Product Variety:
  Work on a range of products for both military and commercial customers.

Key Skills & Tools

• Test equipment:
  Multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, frequency counters, RF analyzers
• Software:
  Python, NI LabVIEW, Test Stand, LabVIEW
• Schematic capture tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium)
• Production documentation and control systems

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate should posses a BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Testing
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience with electronic assembly testing, including In-circuit Functional Testers.
• Hardware Design:
  Proficiency with schematic capture tools.
• Software Development:
  Experience developing test code in NI LabVIEW, Test Stand, or Python.
• Troubleshooting
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to troubleshoot electronic/electro-mechanical assemblies using standard test equipment.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in production control processes, document/spreadsheet creation for manufacturing.
• Documentation:
  Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a final secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• RF Knowledge:
  Understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Generators

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $
