Defense Systems is seeking a Senior Stress Analyst to join our team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

• Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models, perform structural and dynamic analyses, conduct calculations, reduce test data, and correlate results.
• Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance, manufacturability, and schedule.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
  
  Possess 17+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, 15+ years with a master’s degree, or 13+ years with a doctorate degree.
  
  Demonstrated experience with any of the commercial finite element analysis tools (e.g. FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
  Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  
  Capable of working as part of a larger analysis team or working as the sole analyst on a project.
  
  U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance-or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
  
  Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, Alabama area.
