Job Schedule:

9/80:
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off.

The L6 position will serve as the team’s subject matter expert in cost estimating, taking primary responsibility for developing high-quality estimates that are currently prepared by program managers or engineers. This role will also be expected to train and mentor team members in estimating methods and best practices, helping raise the overall capability of the organization.

In addition, this individual will lead the development of a cost estimating relationship (CER) catalog to standardize and streamline estimate creation for business managers and program managers. The expected skill level for this position would be advanced and above most members of the current team, with the ability to operate independently and provide strategic guidance in estimating processes, tools, and methodology.

• Establishes and maintains a CER catalog for repeatable use

• Provides leadership in estimating process development and standardization

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant program finance experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related program finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related program finance experience.

• Experience in estimating, pricing proposal analysis, contracts support, finance, or a related business function.
• Experience supporting complex proposals and developing cost/pricing submissions.
• Knowledge of pricing methodologies, cost analysis, and proposal support processes.
• Experience supporting proposal reviews, fact-finding, negotiations, and audit activities.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or applying internal controls in a compliant business environment.
• Proficiency in Pro Pricer.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and manage multiple priorities under deadline-driven conditions.
• Experience in Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Government contracting environment.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements.
• Experience supporting customer proposal evaluations, cost volume development, and negotiation strategy.
• Experience with historical cost databases, pricing system administration, or proprietary estimating tools.
• Strong understanding of proposal compliance and audit readiness.
• Ability to interpret statements of work and translate technical/programmatic requirements into pricing strategies.
