Iron Mountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst in the Huntsville, AL area supporting an upcoming Long Range Standoff Weapon (LRSO) effort. Ideal candidates will have recent and relevant experience in the DoD environment and excel at translating technical progress into measurable contract performance. The Program Analyst will act as a key advisor to leadership and stakeholders, delivering the data‑driven insights necessary to manage program execution effectively.
Educationand General Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Program Management, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or 7+ years of experience in program control or cost/schedule analysis within the government defense industry.
- Advanced MS Excel and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experience with MS Project is highly preferred.
- Experience with DoD financial reporting requirements, with a focus on data integrity within CDSR, FCHR, and CBDR formats.
- Experience with MIL-STD-881 and government CDRL/SDRL requirements.
- Ability to analyze and translate complex cost/schedule data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting program reviews, audits, and government assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey schedule and cost information to diverse audiences.
- Develop and manage integrated processes for monitoring and controlling project schedule, cost, and performance metrics per contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain the Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) in accordance with MIL-STD-881.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), ensuring project scope is accurately scheduled and resource‑loaded to meet all contractual requirements.
- Examine program budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
- Monitor cost and schedule trends to proactively identify variances and partner with program leadership and functional leads to implement corrective actions for mitigating project impacts.
- Perform cost risk analysis and support program risk mitigation planning.
- Manage, review, and validate all project control related CDRLs and SDRLs to ensure they meet contractual requirements.
- Work closely with Project Scheduler to ensure the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) accurately reflects milestones, critical path dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Translate complex cost, schedule, and performance data into integrated reports and briefings that provide leadership and government stakeholders with a clear view of project performance.
- Support audits and reviews requested by program managers, customers, and company management.
- Perform occasional standing, walking, sitting, use of tools or controls, normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
