Radiology Technologist - Ambulatory Surgery

Full-Time, Mon - Fri 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, on-call from 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM Mon – Wed.

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images while adhering to positioning guidelines and departmental standards
• Practice radiation safety in accordance with ALARA; participate in Image Gently and Image Wisely programs to minimize exposure
• Prepare patients for procedures, verify orders, confirm patient identity, and explain procedures to ensure understanding and comfort
• Demonstrate population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics
• Clean and maintain imaging equipment and modalities in accordance with infection control protocols
• Ensure availability and proper organization of supplies and equipment
• In cases of CT or MRI, insert IV catheters for contrast injections following department policies
• Scan and verify documents into PACS for radiologist interpretation and proper documentation
• Communicate effectively with peers, staff, physicians, leaders, and administration to support patient care
• Identify and mitigate artifacts to ensure optimal image quality
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist (required)
• Must be within 30-minute arrival time when on call
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state (required)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire (required)
