People Tec is seeking a Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

• Develop ETL mappings to extract data from source data systems (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.).
• Conduct performance tuning of the mappings to ensure data is extracted, transformed, and loaded within required time frames.
• Develop BI reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed.
• Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.

• Required Skills/Experience
  :
  • Senior: 8 years of IT experience
  • SME: 10 years of IT experience
  • 5+ years experience with Perl, Linux Red Hat
  • Experience with Oracle Label Security and PL/SQL is highly desired
  • Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology
  • Capable of utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
  • Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to support BI and data warehousing solutions
  • Solid foundation in data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices
  • Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred
  • Travel: 10%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire and maintain it during employment

  • Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
