People Tec is currently seeking a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. We are seeking a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems HWIL frameworks with Agile development, Security, and System Administration teams to create and advance solutions for Dev Sec Ops .

Required Skills/

Experience:

• Dev Ops or software automation
• Linux (RHEL or CentOS), Windows servers and workstations including troubleshooting
• Agile development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• System scripting using Bash, Python, Power Shell, or batch, etc.
• Writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, Jenkins, or Bamboo
• Technical support, training, and guidance on Dev Sec Ops  and software lifecycle tools, e.g., Git Lab, Nexus, or CI tools
• Docker or containerization
• Infrastructure-as-Code or Platform Engineering
• Controlling third-party software (COTS, GOTS, and FOSS) to ensure efficient storage and reuse
• Strong collaboration skills
• Version control tools, e.g., Git
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; OR Master s degree with 3 years professional experience; OR PhD with no experience

• Developing maintainable Infrastructure-as-Code, e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef/Puppet
• Git Ops infrastructure automation process

• Static analysis tools and pipeline integration, e.g., Fortify, Coverity, Sonar Qube
