Overview
Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified candidates for a federal contracting opportunity. This role requires US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance, tied to a subcontract on a project with a Major Prime.

Job Responsibilities &Required Qualifications
- Evaluate and recommend available database management system products to support validated user requirements.
- Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific users/applications.
- Maintain Oracle systems on a Linux operating system and (also desired MS SQL databases admin experience) on a day-to-day basis.
- Shall be responsible for backup and recovery operations for servers.
- Perform quality control of ingest and transform processes and products produced.
- Perform rudimentary Linux systems administrative functions.
- Responsible for entity-relationship diagrams and documentation of Oracle configuration.
- Overall 5-6 years of information technology experience.
- 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
- 3+ years of Linux administration experience.
- Multiple Information Technology certifications.
- Knowledge of Government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services.
- BS degree at minimum; experience can be substituted in some cases in lieu of BS degree at the discretion of the government.
- Clearance – must have an Active TOP SECRET clearance and undergo background investigation and a drug test.
- Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen.
Our standard benefits include 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO that includes sick leave). Any unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary with us. We also provide 2 floating holidays and 8 public holidays. Floating holidays and holidays expire at the end of every year of service. The company will cover 50% of health and dental insurances for all full-time employees;
dependents can be added at extra cost. Employee health and dental coverage becomes effective after 30 days or the first of the month after completing initial 30 working days. We cover 50% for the employee's health and dental insurances. An employee must complete all health and dental paperwork within the first 30 days of employment. We provide STD, LTD, and a one-time salary-equivalent life insurance at no cost to all full-time employees.
All full-time employees or W-2 employees with no benefits will be eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) program after 90 days of employment with a company match of 4%, immediate vesting. All W-2 employees are eligible to participate in the company's profit sharing, with no employee contributions required.
