Job Number: R0234137 Digital Forensic Examiner
The Opportunity:
As a Digital Forensic Examiner, you will play a critical role in uncovering the truth hidden within today's most complex electronic devices. From mobile phones and memory cards to drones, IoT systems, and custom electronics, you will apply advanced forensic methodologies to extract, preserve, and analyze digital evidence in support of high-impact law enforcement investigations. Your expertise in identifying digital artifacts, tracing malicious activity, and understanding adversarial tools, tactics, and procedures will directly support efforts to counter emerging threats.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analytical challenges, has a deep curiosity for how systems are exploited, and possesses the meticulous attention to detail required to follow digital footprints wherever they lead. In this position, you will move beyond traditional "push-button" forensics and into an environment designed for deep technical exploration. You will have the time, resources, and specialized toolsets needed to develop new capabilities, reverse-engineer electronic systems, and uncover artifacts that others overlook.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of investigators, engineers, and mission partners, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of forensic analysis-from initial acquisition and triage to vulnerability assessment and capability development. Your work will support both warfighter and law enforcement operations, helping to identify threats, understand adversary capabilities, and develop new methods to exploit and analyze emerging technologies. Joining our team means stepping into a high-visibility, high-impact role where your technical skill is valued and your professional growth is prioritized.
You will leverage industry-leading forensic platforms, custom hardware solutions, and optimized lab environments to perform electronic data recovery, device exploitation, and in-depth digital examinations tied to real-world cases. This is an opportunity to expand your expertise exponentially while contributing to investigations that protect communities and strengthen national security. If you are ready to apply your forensic talent to meaningful missions and push the boundaries of what is possible in digital investigations, we invite you to.
