Position Responsibilities:

* Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

* Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems

* Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

* Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements

* Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Active CompTIA Security+ DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification

* 3+ years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Linux versions

* 3+ years of experience with deploying, securing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)

* 3+ years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

* 3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

* 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

* 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

* 3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution

* 3+ years of experience integrating security solutions (e.g. Splunk) into information systems Conflict of Interest:
