Autonomous Systems Data Scientist; Junior Security Clearance

Position: Autonomous Systems Data Scientist (Junior) with Security Clearance
Develops and applies interdisciplinary methods, algorithms, statistics, and research techniques in the development of data driven solutions to extract knowledge, provide insights, and present information from data in various structures and unstructured forms. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Performs analysis of data systems, such as Big Data systems
* Combining synthetic and real datasets for algorithmic use, application of domain randomization to reduce reality gaps, and implementing multi-object tracking benchmarks
* Integration and testing of camera system software projects with video imagery
* Fusion of data such as RF IQ and training of hyperspectral imagery segmentation and classification
* Documentation of technical work for technical and non-technical stakeholders,
* May perform statistical analysis and provide input for reports and dashboards
* Assists in the development of data products, reports, and dashboards or other display techniques
* Assists with analyzing data, algorithms, and their interaction to improve algorithm performance
* May apply advanced statistics, including natural language processing and machine learning to create solutions
* May assist in data modeling and data virtualization

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field
* Proficiency in programming languages:
Python and C++
* Familiarity with integration of computer vision models like (YOLO) with Robotic Operating Systems (ROS)
* Experience designing and managing data pipelines and workflows
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within six months of hire; U.S. Citizenship required Preferred:
* Previous hands-on experience with drones
* Previous experience working with the US military or DoD
* Working knowledge of deep learning framework, ie PyTorch, CNN, ect.
